Rail users have welcomed moves to improve signage at Midlothian stations where, it’s been claimed, arrival information for visitors is ‘not up to scratch’.
Tickets are now on sale for the much-anticipated return of ScotRail steam services on the Borders Railway, beginning on Sunday 7 August.

Members of enthusiastic community groups met with representatives of ScotRail at Galashiels Station, on Thursday (3rd March) to discuss the possibility of adopting Galashiels Station.
Local groups are flocking to 'adopt' stations in a drive to help make Midlothian and Borders railway platforms and surroundings more welcoming and people-friendly.
